We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to this year’s school council leads. If you see us around school, please say hi – we would like to get to know you too!

Treasurer: Mel McShane (children in JK and Gr. 1)
Secretary: Karin Korth (one child in Gr. 5)

Waterloo Region Assembly of Public School Councils (WRAPSC) rep: Amanda Hunter (children in Gr. 1 and 5)
Communications: Simon McNaughton (one child in JK)
We also greatly benefit from the dedicated participation of Neil Callaghan (teacher), Jill Kraft (teacher), Vice Principal Sarah Taylor and Principal Barb Tomkins.
Becoming a lead or co-lead for any of the positions above is a great way to volunteer or gain work-related experience. Email sud-schoolcouncil@wrdsb.ca to join.
School Council will meet in-person with a virtual option during the 2023-2024 school year from 7:00 pm to 8:30. At each meeting, the School Council gets an update from the teachers and school administration on what is happening at the school and provides advice on school operations. School councils can also organize events and fundraisers for the school community. Please join us!

- Monday, November 20, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 12. A Google Meet will be available if you cannot come in person. Agenda to be determined. All are welcome!
